Cateran Trail |
|
The Cateran Trail is a 63 mile circular walk that passes within yards of the Hotel and offers some of Perthshire's most beautiful views.
The Cateran Trail is named after the Caterans - a group of marauding cattle thieves who plundered the Strathardle Glen from medieval times through until the 17th Century.
The Cateran Trail takes in the towns and villages of Blairgowrie, Bridge of Cally, Kirkmichael, Spittal of Glenshee, Glenisla and Alyth. Map of the Cateran Trail
Each section of the walk is 6-12 miles long (approximately) and the entire Cateran Trail can be walked in 4-5 days.
For guests booking 3 or more nights we are happy to arrange transport along the Cateran Trail at the start/end of each day at no additional cost.
